With offices based in Düsseldorf, our client is a global provider of reliable networking devices and accessories. This company continues to grow and expand its dynamic team and is currently looking for an Office Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

They require an Manager with 2+ years of experience, to manage the day-to-day operations of their office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing office safety policies and processes, managing the company’s property and office supplies, handling correspondence, managing company phones and keys, and providing support for internal sales of their products. In addition, the Office Administrator will be responsible for supporting other Administration Specialists in organizing team buildings, events, and other related tasks.

This is a 100% On-Site position based in our client’s Düsseldorf office.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Manage company property and office supplies, including applications, database management, returns, and exchanges.
  • Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard front office procedures.
  • Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence.
  • Welcome visitors and provide them with assistance as needed.
  • Manage company phones and office keys and be a contact person for employees.
  • Manage related contracts.
  • Purchase and send lunch vouchers, employee birthday greetings & vouchers, and other “Feel-well” presents for employees.
  • Provide support to other Administration Specialists in organizing team buildings, events, Christmas parties, etc.
  • Manage office maintenance, office & warehouse safety management, and warehouse and office reparation reports and arrangements.
  • Provide support for other Administration-related daily business.

What does the Ideal Candidate look like?

  • 2+ years of previous experience in an administration, office management role, or similar.
  • Experience managing an office of 80+ employees.
  • Native level of the German language and fluent in both verbal and written English.
  • Result and customer-oriented professional, with a hands-on mentality and a thorough way of working.
  • Familiar with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
