We are collaborating with a Financial Services multinational who are presently recruiting for an experienced Lead Software Engineer, who has a focus on Java technologies, to work with their cross-functional development teams providing technical leadership expertise within the development life-cycle for new products and services.

Daily Pay Rate: €700 – €755

As this is a contract role, you must hold an EU citizenship or a valid Stamp 4 visa.
For this role you must have:
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience in software development
- Strong Java developer with proficient Spring/Spring Boot experience
- Microservices architecture experience
- Deep knowledge of software development processes including SAFe/Agile processes
- Web Services exposure (REST/SOAP)
- Knowledge/experience using cloud-native development such as PCF, Azure, etc
- Kafka experience/knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of talented engineers to develop high performance, high volume Java applications.
- Successfully lead major projects and complex assignments with broad scope and long-term business implications.
- Create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality and faster time to market.
- Lead day to day system development and maintenance activities of the team to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with busines,s and technical partners to identify and scope the opportunities, outline potential value, identify risks, benefits and constraints.
- Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise.
