Our client, a leading internet services provider, is looking for a Junior Fraud Prevention Specialist with Mandarin to join their expanding team in Dublin. 

Position: Junior Fraud Prevention Specialist 

Salary Range: €30,000 – €45,000  

Job Type: 12-Month Contract (With Possibility of Extension)  

Location: Dublin, Ireland 

As a Fraud Prevention Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our client’s efforts to maintain the integrity of their business operations.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Routine Fraud Prevention and Abnormal Event Inspection: Execute seamless fraud prevention service operations, ensuring the security of the business against potential threats. 

  • Data Analysis and Strategy Development: Analyze, detect, and respond to potential fraud events using extensive business data. Craft innovative prevention strategies to shield businesses payment fraud, campaign fraud, and more. 

  • Machine Learning Expertise: Utilize your programming prowess in Python and Hive SQL to develop and deploy machine learning models.  

KEY REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and Hive SQL, with the ability to independently implement efficient automated data analysis processes. 

  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent logical thinking skills, coupled with a strong sense of data.  

  • Educational Background: A degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field would be advantageous, highlighting your solid foundation in the subject matter. 

  • Big Data Expertise: Knowledge or project experience in big data analytics will set you apart, allowing you to thrive in our data-rich environment. 

  • Work Experience: Relevant project and work experience in fraud prevention will be a significant advantage. If you have tackled fraud-related challenges before, we want to hear from you!
