As an Industrial Design Engineer, you will be involved in the development and creation of mechanical systems and products for one of the biggest global technology companies specializing in providing innovative solutions for various industries, including food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and more.
Location: Halle Brussels-Capital Region Belgium (onsite)
Contract: Initial 12 months contract, with a view to an extension

Key Responsibilities:
- Has responsibility for the mechanical design of a project.
- Works in accordance with the applicable quality procedures.
- Works with URS and/or design specification as a basis.
- Designs according to the most efficient principles, in terms of cost, quality and planning.
- Maintains contact with suppliers and subcontractors of mechanical parts.
- Makes the necessary drawings and parts lists and passes them on to work preparation.
- Provides the necessary information for preparing the documentation and manuals.
- Is an internal point of contact for questions about the mechanical design of the projects. Expected results of the position
- Contribution to company profitability through efficient mechanical design.
- Representation of the company with professional knowledge and technical expertise in mechanical design
- Accurate and analytical approach
- Team player with perseverance
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in industrial sciences or equivalent through experience
- Additional training: use Creo and/or Windchill and company-specific training
- Fluent English is a requirement.
- Dutch or French would be an advantage but not necessary.
