Join our client, one of the top #10 of global tech innovators who is a trailblazer in the realms of smartphones, networking, data centre solutions, cloud computing, and AI. They are on the lookout for a passionate Graphics Algorithm Engineer to join them on a permanent contract in Dublin or on a 12-month contract within the EU.
As part of our client’s dynamic team, you’ll embark on a journey to co-develop their mobile graphics SDK for game engines. Your role involves researching innovative, scalable computer graphics algorithms that can supercharge performance and enhance rendering quality on our client’s devices.
- Collaborate on the conception, creation, execution, examination, and deployment of computer graphics algorithms customized for our client’s mobile graphics SDK. These algorithms will enhance the performance of existing game engines utilized in our client’s offerings.
- Contribute to the evolution of the client’s GPU architecture by proposing innovative enhancements for their rendering hardware.
- Keep up with the latest advancements and trends in computer graphics research by closely following developments in conferences such as SIGGRAPH, Eurographics, EGSR, JCGT, and similar events. Utilize this knowledge to put forward groundbreaking solutions for game engine graphics, positioning us at the forefront of technology.
- Investigate various sectors of game engine applications, including entertainment, virtual reality, augmented reality, and industrial product design, and lead the way in devising novel solutions to address the unique challenges posed by mobile devices.
- Cultivate connections within academia and industry circles, exploring opportunities for collaboration that can enhance our product objectives.
You must have as a minimum:
- BSc., MSc. Or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Graphics or Video Game Development.
- Excellent C++ coding skills with 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Prior experience with developing and releasing mobile games.
- Experience in Unity , Lumberyard, Unreal 4/5 or other customer game engines and relevant debugging tools
- Strong expertise in HLSL, Vulkan, Metal, and/or DX12.
- A deep understanding of efficient lighting and rendering techniques for mobile platforms.
- Contract type: PERM in Dublin or PAYE or LTD within the EU (12-months)
- Working model: Hybrid or remote
