We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer within Turbochargers for our Partners Turbochargers Department, based in Antwerpen, Belgium. Incredible Company, and working environment!
Your Tasks:
- Being able to carry out maintenance and repair;
- Able to lead service technicians to carry out maintenances commissioning, performance tests, troubleshooting & root cause analysis;
- Able to carry out all kind of maintenance, planned, unplanned, preventive, troubleshooting;
- Assist in preventive vibration measurement and analysis and preventive maintenance on the basis of this analysis;
- Implementation of tasks as part of the maintenance of turbochargers;
- Installation, implementation and troubleshooting of field services;
Who you are:
- You are a qualified marine engineer or field service technician with at least 3 years of maintenance experience on turbochargers;
- You have a technical training / background with knowledge of electronic and pneumatic systems;
- You are assertive and motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team;
- You can work under time pressure and you have excellent technical and commercial skills;
- You are service oriented, a team player and flexible;
- You have a good command of the English language (spoken and written);
- You are able to travel often and at short notice in Europe (valid driver’s license + passport);
- You are living in the Antwerpen region;
Required:
- EU passport is a must
- Drivers license B and own car is a must to come to the location
- Maritime background/education
- Maritime experience
- Technical knowledge and work experience on Turbochargers is a must!
