They are currently on the lookout for a Data Centre Engineer.

Role Description
The Data Centre Engineer will be responsible for providing essential assistance and support for the company’s IT infrastructure. You will work as a technical resource, delivering the vital day-to-day operational assistance required to maintain the data centre’s mission-critical servers, network, and physical infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on break-fix and large-scale infrastructure deployment, ensuring minimal downtime and a secure, operational environment for the company’s customers.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a high-availability, high-security data centre environment
- Proven track record of data centre and/or network/server troubleshooting and hardware break-fix
- Hands-on expertise and experience with data centre physical layer, racking, and hardware maintenance
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Excellent cable management skills with a keen eye for detail
- Industry-standard knowledge of copper and fiber cabling within a data centre environment
- Proficiency in data centre documentation and asset tracking (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, DCIM)
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Juniper, Cisco, Dell, or HP hardware
- Ability to work at heights and lift server and network hardware regularly
- Proficiency in Linux, preferably CentOS
- Technical degree or equivalent experience
