Our client, a branded global cybersecurity company, is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Corporate Events Specialist, to work on the Events team, providing logistical and administrative support for the planning, preparation, and execution of briefings held.

Location: London, City Centre

Mode: Onsite – 10 months PAYE contract
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Support in all elements of event planning and delivery.
  • Act as point of contact for the briefing requestor regarding logistical requirements (catering, gifts, transportation, maps & directions)
  • Collaborate and communicate with Briefing Managers to ensure successful support for briefings.
  • Order and supervise catering
  • Day of set-up of briefing rooms for customer visit
  • Provide administrative support to visiting account team and customers the day of their visit.
  • Update product literature library and customize briefing pack with marketing assets upon request.

Maintain positive relationship with vendors to ensure quality service.

  • Communicate guidelines, timelines and procedures to Briefing Managers for successful execution of logistical requirements.
  • Order general supplies and provide costs to Management for budget reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with Places team (facilities) and IT to maintain ‘Common Areas’ (printers, flowers, damages, room conference equipment, etc…)
  • Maintain current list of recommended restaurants, hotels and local attractions
  • Recommend and assist Briefing Managers and Account Teams with arrangements and reservations for restaurants and local events (sporting events, sightseeing tours, etc)
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Skills Required:

  • Min 3 years in corporate event planning
  • Solid background in organizing events for international executives/clients
  • Great knowledge of London and top attractions
  • Solid experience in event coordination (liaising with catering ect)
  • Budgeting experience
