About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join the global development team of our client, a leading provider of cloud-based software for the optical retail industry. Based in Vancouver, you will collaborate closely with DevOps and Agile Development teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based production systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, security, and availability.
- Implement and maintain continuous delivery pipelines for deployment, build, release, and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new applications into CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance and monitor the Continuous Integration environment, addressing CI issues in real time.
- Partner with architects, developers, and engineers throughout the development lifecycle, including production releases.
- Automate Azure infrastructure deployments and manage cloud environments.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in Release Engineering and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency with YAML pipelines, Git, and SCM strategies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy work environment.
